Advisory Counsil

 

On 1 June 2009, FINANCIAL ASSETS EXECUTIVE SEARCH established an advisory council. The council will advise the Financial Assets management board on the further expansion and strengthening of the agency and will assist the board in making strategic decisions about the agency’s future course. FINANCIAL ASSETS regards the establishment of the advisory council as an important step towards further professionalization going forward. Given the council members’ specialist knowledge and experience, we expect them to make a very valuable contribution.

 

Mr. Ruud Hendriks is highly experienced in institutional asset management. Ruud is Senior Advisor at KKR, Man Group and Citigroup and before he was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, he was jointly responsibly for the sales division for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Between 1991 and 1996 he was Senior Executive Vice President and Global Head of Institutional Sales, at Robeco Institutional Asset Management. His earlier positions included membership of the executive board of RodamcoNV.

 

Prof. dr. Theo Kocken is highly experienced in institutional risk management and is recognised as being a specialist in risk management and strategy for major pension funds. He is a founder and director of Cardano, an organisation that specialises in investment management and risk management and is market leader in derivative overlays, serving the European market from its London and Rotterdam offices. After studying business administration and econometrics and obtaining a PhD at the VU University Amsterdam, he went on to develop his expertise in derivatives and risk management as Head of Market Risk at ING and Rabobank International from 1990 until 2000.


 

Dr. Henk Oosterhout joined Duff & Phelps in 2003. He is a managing director and leader of the firm’s international operations, based in the firm’s Amsterdam office. Henk has more than 15 years of valuation consulting experience.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Henk was a managing director at Standard & Poor's Corporate Value Consulting. He also was a director with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Henk began his career in academia as a professor at Tilburg University and Northwestern University. He specializes in valuation advisory services and has advised clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, information, communication and entertainment, consumer products, industrial products, energy and financial services. Henk holds a Ph.D. in corporate finance and an M.B.A. in operations research and econometrics from Tilburg University.


 

 Ad Kock AAG (57) is highly experienced in actuarial services and in particular insurance. He is the head of the Actuarial Services practice  KPMG in the Netherlands. Prior to joining KPMG Ad  worked at Watson Wyatt Insurance Consulting and was President of the Groupe Consultatif (2007-2008); the European organization of Actuaries.
