WORK METHOD of Actuarial EXECUTIVE SEARCH

Financial Assets Actuarial Executive Search starts an assignment for a permanent appointment with an introductory consultation with the client about the specific function. The most important points of departure and conditions are agreed upon and documented. 

Subsequently we examine and list all relevant aspects of the job profile. We look at profession specific requirements, responsibilities, competences, challenges and the culture of the organization and department. In order to form a good image we like to speak with various persons within the organization. We discuss our observations with the client and specify in mutual consultation with the client what the job profile looks like. That profile sets out all the relevant skills, knowledge, capacities and personal properties. We make a proposition for the most efficient and effective search method, taking into account the wish of the client and our estimation of the situation.

Based on the accentuated job profile we start a target directed search in relevant companies and sectors. In order to find the candidates with the best qualifications, we use a very extensive database and exploit our extensive personal network. Possible candidates for the job are approached discretely. With permission of the client, we also place a job profile on the website of Financial Assets. A search may be supported by an advertisement in one of the national newspapers or specialist magazines.

Search orders will be carried out by the team in Financial Assets. All partners and consultants maintain contacts with clients as well as with candidates. In this way everyone is well informed of the supply as well as at the demand side and we can make the most effective use of our joint network and joint knowledge.  

We initiate first consultation with appropriate and possibly interested candidates. Before a candidate is introduced to a client, there is a profound assessment based on the function requirements. In case of positive findings we introduce possible candidates to the client. When there are sufficient leads then appointments between candidates and clients are organized. Due to our market specialization and –focus, we have often known candidates and their records for a longer period of time. Furthermore good contact with clients often leads to valuable and up-to-date market information on candidates.

After the fist consultation between client and candidate, additional conversations can take place in the organization of the client. During this complete phase we are ready as first contact for the client as well as for the candidate and we see to it that this phase runs as smoothly as possible regarding content as well as operational. After the selection process, Financial Assets assists both parties while entering into a work contract and during the agreement on terms and conditions of employment. Also after the commencement of the employment we maintain contact with both parties. During and after the termination of a search order, desired evaluations are carried out. We use these evaluations in order to identify points for improvement and to further optimize the quality of our service.
