For a client, we are looking for a:

Manager Treasury Front Office (m/f), Corporate, Hoofddorp

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Naspers Treasury Front Office team (currently 2 employees) and act as a back up for the front office employees;
  • Manage excess cash within the relevant policies and regulations;
  • Ensures proper liquidity management through efficient utilization of available cash and borrowing facilities to fund disbursements while minimizing excess cash balances;
  • Daily management of the group’s cashpools;
  • Optimize Naspers banking and cash management structures in line with the relevant policies and regulations; Manage the execution of the Naspers intercompany funding  procedures;
  • Manage the execution of FX transactions on behalf of the groups entities; Assists in the implementation of banking systems;
  • Assist in the further embedding of a Treasury Management System and optimize the front office activities of the treasury  team through treasury technology;
  • Monitor financial markets and become a strategic discussion partner on financial markets; Assist the Head of Treasury and Group Treasury Manager in projects;
  • Support the Naspers operating companies with Treasury related queries; Participate in monthly treasury review calls with key businesses;
  • Take a lead in maintaining the group’s longer term strategic cash flow forecast;
  • Share treasury  related information/research  within the Naspers group.

 

Experience

  • Possess up-to-date knowledge in Treasury management;
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a multinational company and/or within a financial market team of an international  bank in a front office  role;
  • Master degree in Finance/Economics, preferable extended with courses in the area of Treasury and more specifically Cash Management and FX Risk Management;
  • Minimum of 2 year relevant  managerial experience;
  • Have experience with Treasury Management Systems like SunGard lntegrity;
  • Not only understand the essence of the internet, but grasp and be excited by its future; Have excellent communication  skills and intercultural working  capabilities;
  • Fluent in English (oral and written);
  • Be able to identify areas within the treasury activities that need change, develop creative solutions and drive these to implementation.
